Andre joined Roupp Funeral Home, Inc. as Funeral Director/Supervisor, in 1998.  He attended Washington & Jefferson College, Washington, PA, for two years, prior to earning an AAS in Mortuary Science from Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, in 1997. Raised in Mifflinburg, he is a 1994 graduate of Mifflinburg Area High School, is married to his wife, Ellie, and they have one daughter, Monroe.

Andre states,  “Funeral ceremonies are a time of remembrance and celebration of a loved one’s life  Each person has a life story; each family has a story; I believe it is our challenge to help each family remember and celebrate those stories in their own personal manner. Families trust us in an emotional and grieving time with caring for the deceased as well as creating and organizing the ceremony. We strive to assist families who have trusted in us with great commitment and diligence.”

Andre has been active in coaching boys basketball at Mifflinburg High School since 1998, and as the head varsity coach since 2012. He is actively involved in community organizations such as the Mifflinburg Kiwanis Club, and enjoys playing golf.

Hannah Troy

Hannah Troy

Licensed Funeral Director

Originally from Northeastern Pennsylvania, Hannah took an interest in funeral service very early in life. After completing other various college degrees and career paths, Hannah decided that she wanted to be a Funeral Director. She took a leap of faith and decided to move to Pittsburgh alone and attend Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science.

In 2018, she received her Associate’s in Funeral Service. Having no experience and no family or relatives in the industry, a professor recommended she complete her internship at Roupp Funeral Home.(And she is very glad he did!)  After completing National and State Boards, and a one-year internship, she received her Funeral Director’s License in November 2019.

Outside of work, Hannah enjoys camping, exercising, baking, and spending time with her family.

Marc Snyder

Marc Snyder

Funeral Attendant

Marc has been officiating funerals since 2011. He began working at Roupp Funeral Home as an

attendant in April of 2017, after being approached by a fellow school bus driver who worked at Roupp’s at the time. Marc prayed about it for several weeks before accepting the position. Having lost both parents and other family members, along with officiating funerals for the previous five years, he is able to sympathize with those who have lost loved ones. As an independent pastor, he is available to pray with families in their time of need, and able to officiate funerals for those who have no current pastor or church affiliation.

Before answering the call to pastor, Marc worked in the grocery business for 36 years as a stock boy assistant store manager, sales rep for a snack company, and sales rep for a major snack wholesaler for 22 years.

Marc loves to spend time with his wife of 38 years, children and grandchildren. Loves to fly fish, tie flies, do woodworking, building and model railroading. He served on the Love INC (In the Name of Christ) board for six years, a volunteer organization partnering with local churches to offer helping hands. Marc currently volunteers at the New Berlin Food Pantry. He pastors (Marc likes to be referred to as a servant leader) a small independent church, Son Mountain Fellowship in Vicksburg that God has called him and his wife to start.
