Vivien Boop

Vivien R. Boop, 94, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 8:34am, Monday, November 7, 2022, at home.

She was born May 31, 1928, in Beavertown, a daughter of the late David and Pauline (Freed) Rohland. On March 19, 1949 she married Clark R. Aumiller, who preceded her in death in 1988 after 40 years of marriage. On June 20, 1992, she married Maynard C. Boop who preceded her in death December 24, 2019.

She was a 1946 graduate of Beaver Vocational High School, Beaver Springs.

Vivien was employed as a seamstress at Saylor’s Shirt Factory, Beavertown, until early 1970s then worked housekeeping at Selinsgrove Center for 16 years, until retirement in 1988. After retirement, she volunteered at the center for several years.

She was a member of Beavertown Fire Company Auxiliary and of Saint Paul’s Reformed Church, Beavertown.

Vivien loved reading books, playing card games, her family and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald C. and Jan Boop of Bloomsbury, New Jersey, and Richard L. and Susan Boop of Laurelton; three daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda E. Flinn and Ron of Mifflinburg, Tamre L. and Doug Peffer of Millmont, and Cathy A. and Bill Landis of Mifflintown; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Marcus Flinn, Michael and Delann Flinn, Megan and Zachary Heeter, Donna and Mike Belfy, Leighette and Greg Sechrist, Joshua and Tasia Landis, and Tonya and Chris Best; 10 great-grandchildren, Caleb Coker, Parker Heeter, Emily and Benjamin Belfy, Lily and Hayleigh Sechrist, Cadence, Claire, and Foster Landis, and Everly Best; neighbors, Sam and Alice Horning; and her caregiver for the past three years, Victoria Clarke.

Family and friends are welcome from 1 to 2 p.m., Monday, at Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 2, with Pastor Carl Bergerson officiating.

Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Beavertown.
