Shirley Diehl

Shirley M. Diehl, 91, of 105 Willowbrook Blvd., Lewisburg, formerly of Millmont, entered into rest at 12:47 p.m., Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at home.

She was born October 29, 1928, in Millerstown, a daughter of the late Luther A. and Ruth I. (Grubb) Smith. On August 15, 1948, in the Christ Lutheran Church, Lewisburg, she married Samuel A. Diehl, who preceded her in death on March 13, 2016.

Shirley was a 1946 graduate of Lewisburg High School.

She was a member of the Christ’s United Lutheran Church, Millmont.

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Kris Diehl of Millmont; two daughters, Terry Diehl of Mifflinburg, and Joy Diehl of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and her dog, Lucy.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and William Smith.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
