Michael Magruder

Michael W. Magruder, 50, of Lewisburg, entered into rest at 2:46 p.m., Saturday, October 5, 2019, at Grandview Health Homes, Danville.

He was born May 24, 1969, in Martinsburg, West Virginia, a son of Daniel E. and Ruthann (Duvall) Magruder. On April 10, 1999, he married the former Carlene D. Gessner, who survives.

Michael was a 1987 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.

He was a member of New Hope Bible Church, Mifflinburg.

Michael enjoyed camping, fishing, watching and attending football games, and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are two sons, Brandon Magruder of Berwick, and Jacob Magruder of Lewisburg; one brother, Danny Magruder of Selinsgrove; and one sister, Deborah Magruder of Vicksburg.

He was preceded in death by one sister-in-law, Renee.

Family and friends are welcome from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, at Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11, with Pastor David McCarty, officiating.

Burial will be in Hartleton Cemetery.
