Kenneth Hassenplug, Sr.

Kenneth Edward Hassenplug, Sr., 95, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 3:47 p.m., Monday, February 24, 2020, at Rolling Hills Manor, Millmont.

He was born June 1, 1924, in Laurelton, a son of the late Elmer E. and Ida Mae (Kreps) Hassenplug.  On February 28, 1943, in Lewisburg, he married the former Nancy V. Gebert, who preceded him in death January 22, 2019.

Kenneth served in the Army during WWII in Patton’s Third Army.

He was employed at JPM, Co., Lewisburg.

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, James F. and Sara Hassenplug of Mifflinburg; five grandchildren, Stephanie King of Ontario, Canada, Kelly Volkomer of York, Michael Hassenplug of Lewisburg, Brian Hassenplug of Mifflinburg, and Linda Fry of Mifflinburg; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth E. Hassenplug, Jr.

Funeral services will be private.
