Fannie Peachey

Fannie Leah (Byler) Peachey, age 71, was born on January 21, 1950, in Belleville, Pennsylvania. After a battle with heart and kidney failure, combined with pneumonia, she peacefully passed on to be with Jesus on Sunday, July 18, around 5:15 p.m., at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Fannie was the daughter of the late Jacob and Nannie Byler.  She was married to Aaron Peachey on November 27, 1969, and lived in matrimony 51 years and 8 months.

Fannie accepted Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior as a young lady, was baptized, and a faithful member of Christian Believers Fellowship.  She was known as Mama Fannie by many; her love and prayers will be missed.

Fannie leaves behind, to mourn her passing, her husband, Aaron, and five children and their spouses, Mervin (Olga) Dueck of Greeley, Colorado, Robert (Barbara) Stoltzfus of Milton, Roger (Heidi) Troyer of Plain City, Ohio, Michelle (Linus) Yoder of Lewisburg, and Regina (Rodney) Miller of Rural Retreat, Virginia.  Fannie is also Beloved Grandma to 15 living grandchildren, Heidi, Megan, Derek, Brandon, Crystal, Emily, Kimberly, Margie, Isaac, Maria, Malachi, Joshua, Jerome, Keturah, and David; She is a sister to Esther, married to Jacob Peachey, Linda, married to David Peachey, and John, married to Annie Kanagy.

She was preceded in death by and two infant grandsons

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 20, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., at Shady Grove Christian Fellowship Church, 5327 Buffalo Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m., Wednesday, with Tim Yoder, Jonathon Martin, and Earl Peachey, officiating.

Burial will follow at the Christian Believers Fellowship Cemetery, 5806 Colonel John Kelly Rd., Lewisburg.
