Carolyn Zane

Carolyn Rose Zane, 82, formerly of Williamsport, entered into rest at 9:07 p.m., Thursday, December 3, 2020, at Rolling Hills Manor, Millmont.

She was born August 26, 1938, in Williamsport, a daughter of the late Alvin Larue and Edna Marie (Clark) Edkin.  On June 3, 1961, she married Thomas Franklin Zane, Sr., who preceded her in death on June 7, 2002.

Carolyn was a 1957 graduate of Williamsport High School.

She was employed at Stroehmann Bakeries, Williamsport, for 25 years until she retired in 1993.

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas, Jr. and Cathy Zane of Williamsport; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Crystal and Scott Harrelson of Tabor City, NC, Melissa and Todd Shaver of Carolina Beach, NC, and Tanya Zane of Hughesville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Dick Enigk of Montoursville, and Nancy and Garry Ryder of Hughesville; and 13 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Sylvia McMahon; and one grandson, David Zane.

Family and friends are welcome Saturday, June 5, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Hepburn Baptist Church, 2917 Pleasant Valley Rd., Cogan Station, where a memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m.
