Benjamin Zimmerman

September 13, 1995 — July 20, 2021

Lewisburg

Benjamin Noah Charles Zimmerman, 25, of Lewisburg, entered into rest Tuesday, July 20, 2021.

He was born September 13, 1995, in Virginia Beach, a son of Renee (Reinhart) Kerr of Lewisburg and Jimmy Zimmerman of Oklahoma.

Ben was a graduate of Mifflinburg High School.

As far back as we can remember, Ben was always charismatic, charming, sensitive, and fiercely protective. He worked incredibly hard for those he loved. He also worked tirelessly on himself and held many aspirations to grow through his life, like joining the Navy and traveling to Montana to see the Glacier National Park. He loved to laugh and see those around him happy and always held a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews. He made sure he never left without saying “I love you”, which we are so grateful to have had that reassurance from him. Ben was known for his raw honesty whether you wanted to hear it or not. He loved being with his friends and his girlfriend, Tessa. He recently told me that he “loves the color yellow because how can you not be happy when you see that?”

He loved to listen to classic rock and rap. He loved golfing and spending time outdoors hiking many different trails with Tessa and his friends. He was so friendly with animals and had a huge soft spot for cats and dogs.

He was passionate about collecting knives and would talk as long as you let him about all the differences and cool things he liked about them.

Surviving in addition to his parents are sister, Rachel Reinhart and boyfriend Josh Smith of Mifflinburg; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Jordan Miller of Lafayette, Indiana; paternal grandparents, Betty and Charles Zimmerman of Oklahoma; maternal grandparents, Janet and Jim Brenner of Florida; his girlfriend, Tessa Iski of Carlisle; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcome from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, at Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg. A time of sharing memories will begin at 7.
