Lewisburg
Willis E. King, Jr., 85, of Lewisburg, entered into rest at 7:14 p.m., Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Wellspan Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
He was born September 15, 1940, in Montgomery, a son of the late Willis E., Sr. and Lena M. (Hopkins) King. In 1963, he married the former Shirley L. Lepley, who survives.
Willis attended Montgomery High School.
He was employed at Bethlehem Steel, Williamsport.
Willis enjoyed walking and hunting.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 63 years, is one son, James King of Lewisburg.
He was preceded in death by three brothers John, Wayne, and Lester King; and two sisters, Sherma Hill and Nancy Vermeulen.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at Mazeppa Union Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
