William "Bill" Little

William "Bill" J. Little, Jr., 80, of Millmont, entered into rest at 5:14 a.m., Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Wellspan Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

He was born August 29, 1944 in Shenandoah, to the late William and Helen (Glowatsky) Little. He attended 12 years of Catholic schools and graduated in 1962.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching NASCAR races.

Bill attended Penn State University and Williamsport Technical Institute to study electronics.

After completing the courses at Williamsport, he worked in Harrisburg for Lear Siegler Service Corporation, repairing autopilot assemblies for the military. He then worked for the RCA Corporation, GE and Burle Industries in Lancaster as a technician, supervisor, and administrator for 33 years.

He is survived by one son, Robert W. Little and his two children, Brittany Little and Megan Burnside, and grandchildren, Maxton and Olivia; one daughter, Susan Hafer and her three children, Robert Hafer, III, Michael William Hafer, and Rachel Hafer, all of Reading.

He preceded in death by his first wife, Rita Little, who passed away in 1979.

Bill then married his second wife, Anne, who preceded him in death March 11, 2025. She had two children from her previous marriage, Jeff Walters and Kim Baker.

After retirement, he and Anne eventually moved from Manheim, Lancaster County, to Union County.

Bill was a member of Saint George Catholic Church, Mifflinburg, Union County Sportsmen’s Club, and the West End Social Club.

Contributions can be made to American Cancer Society.

A private burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Lancaster County.
