Warren G. Emery

Warren Grove Emery, 100, of Mifflinburg, entered eternal rest at 2:28 a.m., Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

He was born March 16, 1923, in White Springs, a son of the late Rollin Charles and Helen Edna (Grove) Emery.  On June 7, 1945, in Danville, he married the former Jeanne Graham, who preceded him in death on November 25, 2006.

Warren was a graduate of Mifflinburg High School.

He worked at Johnson’s Mill in Cowan, Logan Bell Farms in Bellwood, and Krater Electric Services in Altoona.  He was a self-employed electrician in the Altoona and Mifflinburg areas.

Warren was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Mifflinburg.

Warren enjoyed watching birds and trapping squirrels to relocate them. He always had a smile and a kind word for everyone he met.

Surviving is one brother, Robert Emery of Mifflinburg; one sister, Fae Hanselman of Mifflinburg; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Forrest Emery, Richard Emery, and Neil Emery; and two sisters, Josephine Haggy and Kathryn Weller.

Family and friends are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, November 6^th, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, and 10 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 7^th, at the Calvary Baptist Church, 332 E. Chestnut St., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11, with Pastor Shawn McLain and Rev. Art Mott, officiating.

Private burial will be in the Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.
