Verna Bollinger

Verna R. Bollinger, of 172 Bollinger Dr., Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 4:35 a.m., Friday, December 20, 2019, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

She was born August 16, 1936 in Ephrata, a daughter of the late Paul and Florence (Blantz) Krimes. On December 24, 1953, she married Robert L. Bollinger, who survives.

Verna was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Cowan for 25 years.

She enjoyed crafts, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her husband are one son and daughter-in-law, David and Fern Bollinger of Wellsboro; one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Tony Smith of Mifflinburg; one brother, Robert; two sisters, Beatrice and Kathryn; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter and Douglas; and one sister, Dorothy.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
