Stephen M. Whittaker

Stephen Montgomery Whittaker, 74, entered into rest at 11:25 p.m., Monday, November 24, 2025, at the Emmanuel Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, Danville.

He was born December 20, 1950, in East Stroudsburg, a son of the late Frank and Barbara (Cole) Stahl.

Stephen was a 1969 graduate of Lewisburg High School and a graduate of Williamsport Community College.

He was of the protestant faith.

Stephen was employed at International Paper, Lewisburg, and was the owner/operator of Whittaker Welding, Montandon.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and welding.

Surviving are two brothers and sisters-in-law, Martin L. and Machiko Whittaker of Philadelphia, and David C. and Sharon Whittaker of Mifflinburg; one sister and brother-in-law, Patricia W. and Frederick Grenoble of Lewisburg; and 2 nephews and 4 nieces.

Family and friends are welcome from 10:30 to 11 a.m., Friday, November 28, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the service will be conducted at 11, with Pastor Marc Snyder, officiating.

Burial will be in the Hartleton Cemetery.
