Shirley A. Wehr, 78, entered into rest at 1:30 a.m., Thursday, September 11, 2014, at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg.
She was born August 16, 1936, in Lewisburg, a daughter of the late Earl and Martha (Koons) Catherman. She was married for 45 years to Earl E. Wehr, who preceded her in death.
Shirley attended Lewisburg High School.
She was employed at CVS Drug Store, in Mifflinburg and Lewisburg, for many years.
Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, dancing with Matt, and camping at her mountain land.
Surviving are her special companion of 16 years, Orville "Matt" Matucci of Berwick; three daughters and sons-in-law, Debra J. and Jeff Clouser of Mifflinburg, Linda S. and Kenneth H. Rishel of Mifflinburg, and Denise W. and Curt Wetzel of New Berlin; four grandchildren and their spouses, Nicolas and Susan Rishel of Mifflinburg, Dustin Scholvin and his companion Danielle Walize of Mifflinburg, Benjamin and Ashley Page of State College, and Mark and Kim Rishel of Benton; six great grandchildren, Natalie, Mason, and Quinton Page, Cyruss Scholvin, and Linnley and Broc Rishel; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Irene Catherman of Winfield; and two sisters and one brother-in-law, Sara Fetter of Lewisburg, and June and Jack Solomon of Lewisburg.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Earl Catherman, Jr.
Family and friends are welcome from 6 to 7 p.m., Sunday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 7 p.m., with Rev. James R. Taylor, SUN Home Hospice Chaplain, officiating.
Burial will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family in the Mifflinburg Cemetery.
