Shirley A. Walker, 68, Middleburg
Shirley A. Walker, 68, of 663 Kerr Rd., since 2003, went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 6:10 p.m., Friday, July 31, 2014, at her home.
She was born February 8, 1946, in Williamsport, a daughter of the late Charles A. and Josephine M. (Hill) Widell. On December 31, 1999, she married Kimber A. Walker, who survives.
Shirley was a 1964 graduate of Hughesville High School.
She was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg, from 1974 until she retired in 2010.
Shirley was a very giving person. She enjoyed riding motorcycle with her husband, driving in the mountains, and campfires in her backyard with her friends.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are one son, Raymond Paige of Idaho; one daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Robert Smith of Jersey Shore; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur, Robert, and Charles Widell; and one sister, Betty Wayland.
Memorial gifts may be made in memory of Shirley to Evangelical Hospice, 1 Hospital Dr., Lewisburg, PA 17837.
Funeral services will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.
