Shirley M. Guyer

Shirley M. (Snyder) Guyer, 81, of Mifflinburg since 1978, entered into rest at 5:33 a.m., Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg.

She was born August 14, 1944, in Shamokin, a daughter of the late Earl L. and Lillian (Heckman) Snyder. On January 4, 1961, she married Gene D. Guyer, who preceded her in death December 12, 2013.

Shirley was a homemaker and enjoyed arts and crafts, and playing Bingo.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Gene, Jr. and Stephanie Guyer of Shamokin, and Bill and Melissa Guyer of Middleburg; four grandchildren, Brandi Harris of Coal Township, Nicole Schroyer of Trevorton, Lindsay Guyer of Shamokin, and Corey Guyer of Middleburg; six great grandchildren, Austin and Tricia Harris, Andrew and Lilleigh Schroyer, Tristen and Kinsley Reigle; one great-great granddaughter, Stephanie Adams; and one brother, Robert Snyder of Mount Carmel.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl Snyder, Jr., and Wayne Snyder; and mother-in-law, Renoda Zimmerman.

Funeral services will be private.
