Sharon D. Rishel

Sharon D. Rishel, 64, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 5:49 a.m., Friday, September 19, 2025, at Wellspan Evangelical Hospital, Lewisburg.

She was born September 14, 1961, in Lewisburg, a daughter of Pauline D. (Coudriet) Libby and the late Gordon L. Libby. On May 24, 1986, she married Gregory J. Rishel, who survives.

Sharon was a graduate of Mifflinburg High School.

She was employed IGA Supermarkets, Kan-Trac-Tor, American Standard Apparel, Williamsport, Brann and Light Attorney’s Office, Lewisburg, and RHP Law Group, Selinsgrove.

Sharon was a member of Buffalo Crossroads Community Church, Lewisburg.

She enjoyed shopping, spending time with her husband and daughters, and host family dinners.

Surviving in addition to her husband and mother, are two daughters and their spouses, Amber Frock and fiancé Jordan Canankamp of Gettysburg, and Paige and Eric Rothermel of Mifflinburg; one sister and brother-in-law, Kimberly and George Hassinger of Mifflinburg; and numerous brother and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family and friends are welcome from 10 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Buffalo Crossroads Community Church, 954 Johnson Mill Road, Lewisburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11, with Rev. Daniel Hicks, officiating.

Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.
