MIDDLEBURG - Shannon Renee Surface, 23, of 10 JC Court, entered into rest on Monday, Jan. 11, 2010.
She was born Oct. 27, 1986, in Hillsboro, Ohio, a daughter of Debra (Robinson) Grim, of New Berlin, and the late Timothy Surface.
Shannon was a 2005 graduate of Midd-West High School.
She was employed as a photographer at the Picture Me Portrait Studio, Selinsgrove.
Shannon enjoyed scrapbooking and sharing time with her son, Jordan.
Surviving are her parents, Debra S. Grim and Jeffrey S. Swanger, of New Berlin; her fiance, Nelson P. Coble, of Middleburg; one son, Jordan M. Coble, of Middleburg; three brothers, Derek E.R. Hall, of Ellsworth Air Force Base, N.D., Shane A.W. Hall, of Greenfield, Ohio, and Isaac Surface, of Lima, Ohio; one sister, Colleen D. Hall, of New Berlin; and her grandparents, Ed and Erma Surface, of Oregonia, Ohio, Lloyd and Phyllis Swanger, of New Berlin, and Charles and Janet Griffith, of Hillsboro, Ohio.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Plum and High streets, New Berlin, with the Rev. Roger K. Peters officiating. Shannon's family requests that all attending the memorial service wear something pink in memory of Shannon.
Interment will be in New Berlin Cemetery.
