Rose Marie Showalter, 81, of 298 JD Acres, Mifflinburg, formerly of Leola for 47 years, entered into rest at 3:35 a.m., Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Rolling Hills Manor, Millmont.
She was born March 7, 1936, in Waynesboro, a daughter of the late George P., Sr. and Buella M. (Welker) Ferguson. Rose was wife of the late Glen A. Galbraith and long time partner of the late James G. Showalter, Sr.
Rose was a 1954 graduate of Waynesboro High School.
She was employed at C&D Technologies, Leola, for 27 years.
Surviving are two daughters and one son-in-law, Glenda and Mike Worst of Ronks, and Jackie Snyder of New Holland; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Greg and Linda Galbraith of Stroud, Oklahoma, George Galbraith of Mifflinburg, and Jim, Jr. and Cindy Showalter of Mifflinburg; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted privately.
