Roger L. Keister, Sr.

Roger L. Keister, Sr., 71, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 12:40 a.m., Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Rolling Hills Manor, Millmont.

He was born January 12, 1954, in Lewistown, a son of the late Harold E. and Betty (Bingaman) Keister. On January 9, 2012, he married the former Betty R. Beardsley, who survives.

Roger was employed at Yorktowne Kitchens, Mifflinburg, for 39 years.

He enjoyed NASCAR, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 13 years, are one son, Roger L. Keister, Jr. of Mifflinburg; one daughter, Melody Keister, of Lewisburg; one step-son, Justin L. and his wife Angel Shambach of Sunbury; one brother, David Keister of Mifflinburg; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Linda Sholter of Weikert, and Robin and Patrick McCann of New Cumberland; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one step-daughter, Desiree A. Starks; one brother, Stanley Keister; and one brother-in-law, George Sholter, Jr.

Services will be private.
