Roberta K. Berger, 76, Mifflinburg

Roberta Kathleen Berger, 76, of 6349 Old Turnpike Rd., since 1973, entered into rest at 5:20 p.m., Saturday, January 25, 2014, at her home.

She was born July 20, 1937, in Long Island, New York, a daughter of the late Henry and Kathleen (Faber) McManus. On April 8, 1971, in New York, she married Lawrence E. Berger, who survives.

Roberta was owner and operator of the Chatterbox Chateau Pet Grooming and Boarding Kennel, Mifflinburg.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lewisburg.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 42 years, are three sons and two daughters-in-law, David and Patricia Berger of Wampum, Scott and Lori Berger of Lewisburg, and Dale Berger of California; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Sandra Berger of Milton, Cynthia Berger of Sherbourne, NY, and Valerie and Mark Calhoon of Oklahoma City, Ok; one brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Rose McManus of Saco, Maine; 11 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Roberta will be announced at a later date.

Funeral arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
