Robert Moyer

Robert M. Moyer, 87, of Wildwood Rd., Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 9:01 p.m., Monday, August 26, 2019, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

He was born September 1, 1931, in Mifflinburg, a son of the late Henry and Arla (Benner) Moyer.  On August 6, 1955, he married the former Isabel V. Shultz, who survives.

Robert was a 1949 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.

He was a member of the Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Penns Creek.

Robert was a self-employed dairy farmer at home his entire life and was also employed at Walnut Acres, Penns Creek.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 64 years, is one brother, Wayne Moyer of Mifflinburg; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one son, Dale Moyer; three sisters, June Garman, Olive Walter, and Faylene Wagner.

Family and friends are welcome from 1 to 2 p.m., Friday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 2, with Pastor Shawn McNett, officiating.

Burial will be in the Penns Creek Union Cemetery.
