Richard L. Roupp, 77, formerly of Mifflinburg and Mansfield, entered into rest Sunday, July 29, 2018, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.
He was born February 4, 1941, in Sayre, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Edgar L. and Thelma A. (Slingerland) Roupp.
Richard was a 1959 graduate of Mansfield High School.
He honorably served in the Army National Guard.
Richard was a graduate of Simmons School of Mortuary Science, Syracuse, New York.
He owned and operated the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., Mifflinburg, from 1986 until he retired in 1999.
Richard enjoyed raising horses and other farm animals, antique shopping, and attending auctions.
He was a former member of the Tioga Valley Saddle Club, Mansfield.
Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Lydia Vanessa K. and Marc J. Speciale of Johnstown, and Cortney K. and Ryan S. Klose of Mifflinburg; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Andre’ W. K. and Ellie Kreisher Roupp of Mifflinburg, and Tristan G. K. Roupp and his companion Sarah Combs of Lewisburg; 7 grandchildren; one brother, Edgar H. Roupp of Mansfield; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Constance A. and David M. Rawson of Germania, and Bonnie L. and Cliff Cross of Mansfield; one aunt, Jean Stadler of Mansfield; and nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are welcome to a time of visitation from 1 to 2 p.m., Sunday, at the Christ’s United Lutheran Church, 13765 Old Turnpike Rd., Millmont, where a memorial service will be conducted at 2, with Rev. John Yost, officiating.
Funeral arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
