Paul Maurer

MIFFLINBURG – Paul M. Maurer, 78, of 10970 Buffalo Rd., since 1969, entered into rest Friday, December 15, 2017, at his home.
He was born November 13, 1939, in Darby, a son of the late Paul S. and Kathryn E. (Mohn) Maurer.
Paul was a graduate of Haverford High School.
He was a member of the Montandon Baptist Church.
Paul was owner and operator of Maurer’s Gap Run Store from 1969 until 1995.
He enjoyed model trains and was active in train clubs.
Surviving are three nephews, Uriah Maurer of Mifflinburg, Elias Maurer of Liverpool, and Malachi Maurer of Mercersburg; and one sister-in-law, Arlene M. Maurer of Mifflinburg.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Lucien G. Maurer.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, with Pastor Ron Wagner, officiating.
Burial will be in the New Berlin Cemetery.
