Orvis G. Wagner

Orvis “Orvie” G. Wagner, 90, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 10:23 p.m., Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Wellspan Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

He was born January 12, 1936, in Pleasant Grove, a son of the late George Edward and Carrie (Warburton) Wagner. In 1956, he married the former Catherine “Kate” A. Endy, who preceded him in death September 5, 2011.

Orvis was worked in construction and farming, and was employed at E.H. Kleckner’s, Montandon, and retired from International Paper, Lewisburg.

He was a member of the Lewisburg American Legion Post 182.

He enjoyed bowling, fast pitch softball, watching sports, camping, and watching his grandchildren participate in sports.

Surviving are his children and their spouses, Jeffrey and Kathy Wagner of Northumberland, Vickie and Richard Zechman of Turbotville, Gayle and Randy Baker of Mifflinburg, Christopher and Lana Wagner of West Milton; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Kermit Wagner of Scranton, and Michael and Gloria Graham of Florida; and one sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and Greg Shuck of Mifflinburg.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, John Wagner, Gary Wagner, and William Wagner.

A celebration of life will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
