Naomi Miller

November 9, 1944 — December 16, 2015

MIFFLINBURG – Naomi Bertha Miller, 71, of 947 Buffalo Creek Rd., since June, formerly of 740 Smith Rd., for 26 years, entered into rest at 5:02 a.m., Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born November 9, 1944, in Belleville, a daughter of the late Jacob and Bertha (Yoder) Hostetler.  On March 21, 1963, she married Allen E. Miller, who survives.

Naomi was a member of the Boyer Mennonite Church, Middleburg.

She was employed as a truck driver with her husband for 15 years.

Naomi enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and embroidery, and spending time with her family, especially for breakfast on Saturday mornings.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 52 years, are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Leroy Miller, Dave and Jenn Miller, and Tim and Julie Miller, all of Mifflinburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Lewis Hoover of Mifflinburg; 12 grandchildren, Dana and his wife Lori Hoover, Duane Hoover, Daryl and his wife Denise Seibel, Darlene, Danny, and Daryl Hoover, Mackenna, Zackary, Chelsea, Darren, Morgan, and Madison Miller; 2 great grandchildren, Riley, and Katelyn; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Lee and Ruth Hostetler, Titus and Arlene Hostetler, and John and Lovina Hostetler; and four sisters and four brothers-in-law, Nancy and Harvey Yoder, Mary and Joe Peachey, Edna and Elmer Schrock, and Julia and Elwood Yoder.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Ezra, Ivan, Paul, and Allen Hostetler.

Family and friends are welcome from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, and 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, at the Boyer Mennonite Church, 1472 West Ridge Rd., Middleburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11, with officiating ministers, Mike Byler and Titus Hostetler.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc, 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
