Mildred “Millie” Mabus, 64, of Berwick, entered into rest at 10:15 a.m., Sunday, December 18, 2022, at home.
She was born November 11, 1958 in Lewistown, a daughter of the late Robert Kehoe and Janet (Barr) Lash and step-father Robert K. Lash. On July 23, 1988, she married Benjamin Mabus, who survives.
Millie was a graduate of Lewistown High School and received her LPN from the Danville Area Nursing Program.
She was employed at Geisinger Danville, Evangelical Community Hospital, and most recently at AmeriHealth Insurance Company.
Millie enjoyed gardening, crafting, trips to Lake Canandaigua. She had a beautiful spirit, who was full of love and could get along with anyone she met.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 34 years, is one daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Jeff Murphy of Berwick; one brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Julie Lash of Lakeland, Florida; one sister and brother-in-law, Ruthie and Tim Brown of Lakeland, Florida; two grandchildren, Isaiah and Kayla Murphy; and one great-granddaughter, Everly Roberts.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert K. Lash, Jr., and George A. Barr.
Millie touched the lives of everyone she met and will be greatly missed.
Family and friends are welcome from 11 to 12 p.m., Tuesday, December 27, at Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 12, with Servant Leader Marc Snyder, officiating.
Burial will follow in Mount Rock Cemetery, Lewistown.
