Mary Searer

Mary S. Searer, 100, Millmont

Mary S. Searer, 100, formerly of Selinsgrove, entered into rest at 3:30 p.m., Friday, April 4, 2014, at Rolling Hills Manor, where she had been a resident since 2005.

She was born March 23, 1914, a daughter of the late Rev. John F. Boyer Griesemer and Mary H. (Shalter).

Mary was a member of the St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Selinsgrove.

She was a Latin, French, and History teacher at the Selinsgrove Area High School.

Surviving are two sons, Edward and John.

Friends are welcome from 10:30 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m., with Rev. Dr. Dietmar Plajer, officiating.

Burial will be private.
