Mary C. Sampsell, 86, Mifflinburg
Mary C. Sampsell, 86, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Riverwoods, Lewisburg, where she had been a resident since 2008.
She was born January 19, 1928, in Mifflinburg, a daughter of the late Paul and Helen (Bingaman) Smith.
Mary was a member of the Mifflinburg United Methodist Church.
She was a 1946 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.
Mary was employed at Moore Business Forms, Lewisburg, for many years, and earlier in life worked at Huntington Throwing Mills, Mifflinburg.
She enjoyed attending sales and auctions, going to her family reunion, and attending her grandchildren's sporting events.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Larry L. and Cindy Sampsell of Mifflinburg; three grandchildren and their spouses, Scott L. Sampsell and companion Michelle of Millmont, Ryan A. and Charity Sampsell of Mifflinburg, and Lindsey E. and Christopher Snyder of Mifflinburg; seven great grandchildren, Hailey, Makenna, Taylin, Brennen, Denzel, Dominic, and Tyler; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Janet Smith of Lewisburg; and one sister and brother-in-law, Anna Mae and Kenneth Shuck of Mifflinburg.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clair Smith and Guy Smith; and one sister, Miriam Herman.
There will be no public viewing. Family and friends are welcome to a time of visitation from 10 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m., with Rev. Elizabeth Taylor, officiating.
Burial will be in the Mifflinburg Cemetery.
