Marlin "Butch" Page

September 30, 1956 — April 21, 2025

Mifflinburg

Marlin “Butch” H. Page, II, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 11:35 a.m., Monday, April 21, 2025, at home.

He was born September 30, 1956, in Buffalo, New York, a son of the late Marlin “Red” W. and Mildred “Millie” (Gross) Page.

Butch attended Middleburg High School.

He was employed as a truck driver for more than 41 years being known as “The Streaker.”

Butch enjoyed spending time with his family and friends more than anything in this world. From talking on the phone daily to his only granddaughter, “The Pilgrim,” to hanging out with his best friend, Flash, to spending time at the cabin with his brothers and sister, talking with his “baby doll,” Stevie Lee, and to the memorable summers at the campground and having Chick by his side! “Pops, Site 641” as many know him as, was so very loved and well known!

Butch was loved by anyone and everyone he met! He had his wits and quick comebacks which everyone enjoyed. He lit up the scene from hanging with friends, heading to the VFW (and don’t ask him to spell it again) to see his “Honey Pie,” to breakfast with his family and friends every Friday! This man was loved more than he will ever know!

He was a member of the New Berlin American Legion Post 957, Yoder-Zimmerman VFW Post 1964, Mifflinburg, and the Watsontown Masonic Lodge 401.

Surviving are one son, Marlin “Flash” Page of New Berlin; one daughter, Melanie Page and her husband, Matthew Mackley of Mifflinburg; three brothers, David “Dave” (Tina), Robert “Bob” (Lorrie), and Scott (Betty) Page; one sister, Faith Erdley; his grandchildren, Brayden Nogle, and Addison Mackley; and one great grandson, John “JW” Page.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Page; and two sisters, Patricia Sullivan and Judy Walter.

Family and friends are welcome to a time of visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, April 26, at Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the celebration of life will be conducted at 1, with Allen Smith, officiating.  A masonic service will be conducted by Watsontown Masonic Lodge 401.
