Marlin Edward George, 68, of 3975 Red Ridge Rd., Mifflinburg, since 1978, entered into rest at 4:35 p.m., Saturday, August 14, 2021, at home.
He was born April 4, 1953, in Muncy, a son of the late Robert L. and Frances A. (Boyer) George. On June 24, 1971, in Millmont, he married the former Judy K. DeLong, who survives.
Marlin was employed as a Supervisor at Pennsylvania House, Lewisburg, for 28 years.
He was a member of the Union County Sportsmen’s Club, Weikert, and enjoyed hunting.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 50 years, are one son and daughter-in-law, Anthony E. and Debra George of Mifflinburg; one daughter, Tammy Stamm and her companion Scott Clark of Lewisburg; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert L. and Charlotte George of Muncy; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Gladys and Roger Adams of Berwick, Judy Rosbach and her companion Frank Hester of Hughesville, and Sandra Kauffman of Kreamer; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael A. George and Willard Boyer; two sisters, Cathy Wood and Charlotte Delcamp; and one brother-in-law, Larry Kauffman.
Funeral services will be private.
Arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
