Marilyn E. Martin, 82, of Mifflinburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 9:50 a.m., Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at home.
She was born July 2, 1943, in Albany, Oregon, a daughter of the late Samuel J. and Esther (Nofziger) King. On April 2, 1966, in Albany, Oregon, she married Lewis L. Martin, who survives.
Marilyn was a graduate of Western Mennonite School and Registered Nurse’s Training School.
She was a homemaker, and enjoyed tending to her flowers, cooking, playing the piano, and was a talented seamstress.
Surviving in addition to her husband of almost 60 years, are two sons and daughters-in-law, Darvin L. and Judith (Mack) Martin, and Doyle L. and Rose (Stoltzfus) Martin, all of Mifflinburg; four daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda L. and Delmar Sensenig of Thorpe, Wisconsin, Lavonne L. and David Miller of Weyers Cave, Virginia, M. LaJane and Matthew Siegrist of Mifflinburg, and Michelle L. and Kevin Kauffman of Millmont; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Joanne and Truman Cox of Florida, Lynelle and Douglas Stutzman of Idaho, and Jewel (King) Van Ord of New York; 41 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Troy L. Martin; four brothers, Sanford, Jerry, Delvin, and Jeff King; and one brother-in-law, Marty Von Ord.
Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, January 18, and 9 to 10 a.m., Monday, January 19, at the Millmont Mennonite Church, 1250 Millmont Road, where funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., with Millmont Ministry, officiating.
Interment will follow in adjoining church cemetery.
