Mabeljean Reber

Mabeljean Arlene Reber, 87, formerly of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 3:32 a.m., Saturday, January 28, 2017, at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg, where she had been a resident for the past 2 years.

She was born November 10, 1929, in Coburn, a daughter of the late Bruce L. and Alma A. (Musser) Weaver.

Mabeljean was employed as a machine operator at the Huntington Throwing Mills, Mifflinburg, for many years.

She was a member of the Mifflinburg United Methodist Church.

Mabeljean was a foster grandparent for the Selinsgrove Center.

She enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, painting, and gardening.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Jill Reber of Selinsgrove, and Frank and Theresa Reber of Lewisburg; three daughters and one son-in-law, Sharon and Ronald Brooks of Oxford, PA, Evelyn Guyer of Mifflinburg, and Nova Reber of Mifflinburg; one brother, David Weaver of Mifflinburg; two sisters, Alberta Sterling of Lebanon, PA, and Gwen Moyer of Mifflinburg; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Derek and Kyleigh Reber of Mifflinburg, Brittany Reber of Phoenix, AZ, Tracey and Jim Grinestaff of Lancaster, PA, Donna and Mike Klein of Avondale, PA, Denise and Jim Procopio of Fort Worth, Texas, Danielle Reber of Buffalo, New York, and Isaac Reber of Selinsgrove; and 4 great grandchildren, Patrick and Anna Procopio, and Caitlin and Emily Klein.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Weaver; and one sister, Lois McGraw.

Family and friends are welcome from 11 a.m to noon, Tuesday at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Road, Mifflinburg where the funeral will be conducted at noon, with Rev. Mrs. Shirley Cornell, officiating.

The burial will be in the Hillside Bible Church Cemetery, Mifflinburg.
