MANSFIELD – Lydia Kristine Kuhl, 66, of 53 N. Main St., entered into rest at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, August 4, 2016, at her home.
She was born November 2, 1949, in Bath, New York, a daughter of the late Cleo Brainard and Lydia Wilt (Scureman) Kuhl.
Kris attended Wellsboro High School and Mansfield University, majoring in English Literature.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Mansfield.
Reading classic fiction, attending ballet performances and listening to her extensive record collection of Broadway musicals and classical music were her favorite past times. Kris enjoyed photography and was known as her family photographer. She loved working outside maintaining her fruit trees, flower garden, and lawn.
Surviving are two sisters, Cynthia Kuhl Roupp of Mifflinburg, PA, and Sylvia Kuhl Yamashita of Mansfield, PA; 2 nieces and 2 nephews; 2 great nieces and 3 great nephews; and several cousins.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Kris will be conducted privately with family and close friends with Rev. John Yost, officiating.
Burial will be in the Oregon Hill Cemetery, Morris, PA.

Funeral arrangements are by Kris’s nephew, Andre’ W. K. Roupp, Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, PA.
