Lois Elnora Stuck

On a sunny Tuesday morning, September 15, 2026, surrounded by family, Lois E. Stuck, 84, of Mifflinburg, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior.

Lois was born on January 29, 1942, a daughter of Norman and Elnora (Furman) Geise of Northumberland. In the seventh grade she met the love of her life, Wendel A. Stuck. They were married on September 8, 1962, until Wendel passed away on July 2, 2004.

As a teenager, Lois worked for the family business, Furman Canning Company, now Furmano Foods. She graduated from Northumberland High School, attended Philadelphia College of Bible, and studied nursing.

She attended Christ Wesleyan Church of Milton for the past 22 years, most recently watching online every Sunday.

Lois was a homemaker, caring for her husband, four children, the dogs, and a cat. She had many love languages. She enjoyed cooking and hosting meals (especially Thanksgiving and Christmas). She was an expert at baking apple crisp, birthday cakes, pies, and an array of Christmas cookies. Lois sent countless cards and letters of encouragement and prayed for loved ones daily.

Lois loved Jesus, chocolate, her dogs, fish sandwiches and Blend at The Fence Drive-In, Fox News channel, all things the color green (including her Jaguar), watching Penn State football, pink lemonade, reading, sunbathing, and taking care of and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Lois was known by many names to those who loved her, including Mimi, Grandma, Great-Grandma, and “my mom.”

She is survived by her son, Gregory Stuck and wife Debbie, her daughter, Wendy Orris and husband Daryl, her son, Jeffrey Stuck and wife Kimberly, and her daughter, Jennifer Wade and husband Austin. Her grandchildren include Doug, Marie, Patrick, William, Uyen, Troy, Kwan, John, Natasha, Kippy, Asher, Darby, Jessalyn, Joshua, Jedadiah, Jenna, and Brooklyn. Great grandchildren Olivia, Landon, Olive, John, Raya, Knox, Jubilee, and John. Her brother Don Geise and wife Sue, her sister-in-law, Jody Geise, brother-in-law, Les Risser, sister-in-law, Janey Gurysh, sister-in-law, Dolly Smith, and numerous and loved nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the Lewisburg Dialysis Center for caring for our mother these last 4 years and Geisinger Hospice for your compassionate and gentle care of our mom and us.
