Linda Lou Wright

Linda Lou Wright, 83, of 2439 Supplee Mill Road, Lewisburg, entered into rest at 5:33 p.m., Saturday, July 4, 2026, at home.

She was born May 24, 1943 in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Rolliff E. and Hazel (Treon) Beaver. On May 31, 1966 in Mifflintown, she married Palmer P. Wright, who survives.

Linda was a graduate of Sunbury High School.

She was employed as an aide at Buffalo Valley Nursing Home, Evangelical Community Hospital, both of Lewisburg, Champ Hats, Sunbury, Save-A-Lot Grocery, Lewisburg, and Tara Lee Sewing, New Berlin.

Linda enjoyed painting, crafting, crocheting, drawing, feeding any animal that would visit, her flower garden and spending time with family, friends, and her grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 60 years, are one son, Todd Wright of Lewisburg; two daughters, Jody Beaver of Lewisburg, and Denise Mullany of Mifflinburg; three grandchildren, Abigail and husband Zach Long, and Emma and Paige Wright; three great-grandchildren, Easton, Cole, and Raegan Long; one sister-in-law, Audrey Beaver.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jamie Beaver; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Harold Beaver, Robert and Ruth Beaver, and John Beaver; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Ada and Lee Showers, Beverly and Palmer Martin, and Judy and John Edinger.

Family and friends are welcome from 12 to 1 p.m., Friday, July 17th, 2026, at Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Road, Mifflinburg, where a memorial service will be conducted at 1, with Pastor Marc Snyder, officiating.
