Kenneth W. Berge, Sr.

Kenneth W. Berge, Sr., 81, of 5590 Old Turnpike Rd., Lewisburg, entered into rest at 2:10 p.m., Monday, June 22, 2026, at home.

He was born August 21, 1944, in Lewisburg, a son of the late Floyd W. and Erma (Krouse) Berge. On March 6, 1965, at the Kratzerville Lutheran Church, he married the former Connie L. Bowersox, who survives.

Ken was a 1962 graduate of Selinsgrove High School.

He was a member of the Kratzerville Lutheran Church.

Ken was employed in the finishing department at Pennsylvania House, Lewisburg, for 42 years.

He was a member of Mifflinburg Moose Lodge, where he held a fellowship degree and served as governor for four years. Ken was a member of the New Berlin Legion bowling team for many years.

Ken enjoyed gardening, hunting with his son, spending time at his cottage with family and friends, and loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren with all of his heart.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 61 years, are one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth W., Jr. and Julie Berge of New Berlin; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Harry and Sandy Berge of Lewisburg, and Clair and Deb Berge of Kratzerville; two grandchildren, Amber and her husband David Brittain, and Derek Berge; and three great grandchildren, Aubree, Baileigh, and Case Brittain.

He was preceded in death by one great grandson, Abel Brittain.

Family and friends are welcome from 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday, June 27, at Harvest Bible Church, 115 Freedom Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 2, with Pastor Justin Troup, officiating.

Burial will be in Mifflinburg Cemetery.
