Karen L. Mabus

Karen L. Mabus, 79, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 1:50 a.m., Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at Milton Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born February 22, 1944, a daughter of the late Fred and Pearl (Showers) Diggan.  On May 22, 1964, she married Clifford A. Mabus, Sr., who survives.

Karen was employed at various jobs, including nursing homes and sewing factories.

She enjoyed playing computer games and puzzle books.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 59 years, are two sons and one daughter-in-law, Jeffrey Diggan of Montandon, and Clifford Jr. and Tamara Mabus of Mifflinburg; two daughters and son-in-law, Brenda and Larry Finsterbush of Mifflinburg, and Karen Jows of Mifflinburg; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra “Sam” Snyder; and one brother and sister.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
