Jean Faye Spickler, 88, a lifelong resident of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 1:28 p.m., Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Thornwald Home, Carlisle.

She was born September 25, 1937, in Mifflinburg, a daughter of the late James F. and Velma (Moyer) Spickler.

Jean was a 1955 graduate of
Mifflinburg High School.

She was a member of the Mifflinburg United Methodist Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher for many years.

Jean was employed as a secretary at Huntingdon Throwing Mill, 
Mifflinburg, for 40 years.

She enjoyed reading, playing cards, scrabble, and spending time with her family.

Surviving are one brother and sister-in-law, Donald, Sr. and Sondra Spickler of Carlisle; nieces, Kim and her husband Don Smith, and Deisiree and her husband Tom Schantz; nephews, Shane Eisenhuth, and Dr. Donald E. Spickler, Jr. and his wife Anna; and great nieces and great nephews, Ryan and Kierstyn Smith, Vickie Dewalt, Brandon Burry, Sabrina Schantz, and Amberly Doane.

She was preceded in death by one brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Lorraine Spickler; and one sister, Joyce Eisenhuth.

Funeral services will be private.
