Henry “Ernie” Earnest Moll, 94, of Mifflinburg, went to be with his Lord at 9:10 a.m., Friday, February 7, 2020, at his home.
He was born March 15, 1925, in Pleasant Grove, a son of the late Henry H. and Mary M. (Reigle) Moll. On June 22, 1957, he married the former Mary E. Valentine, who survives. Together they shared nearly 63 years.
Henry was a 1942 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.
He attended Hillside Bible Church, Mifflinburg.
Henry farmed all of his life until in 1963 when he had back surgery which restricted him from farming. At that time, he started working for Dan Henry Lewisburg Auto Parts and for Herander Pontiac Auto Parts, Lewisburg. Later, he worked for A.W. Logan Trucking, Milton, Western Auto, Mifflinburg, and did tax accessing for Lewis Township.
He read his Bible over 400 times throughout his life, and enjoyed farming, hunting, and gardening.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are one son and daughter-in-law, Bradley and Jeri Moll of Mifflinburg; three daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Mark Smith of California, Victoria and Robert Holder of Texas, and Sandra and Gerald Benoit of Maine; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Jasmine Moll; one brother, Robert Moll; one sister, Frieda Moll; 2 half-brothers, Ralph Moll and John Klingman, Sr.; six half-sisters, Mary Brasier, Velma Predix, Grace Geiser, Marion Ross, Dorothy Ross, and Alice Grove.
Family and friends are welcome from 10 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at the Hillside Bible Church, 1650 Centennial Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11, with Pastor Matthew Abberger, officiating.
Burial will be in Hillside Bible Church Cemetery.
