Glenn Leon Kreischer, 94, formerly of Collegeville, entered into rest at 2:35 a.m., Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at Phoenixville Hospital.
He was born March 29, 1926, in Sunbury, a son of the late John and Rose (Sunbury) Kreischer. On February 15, 1947, in Sunbury, he married the former Hazel Ellen Kessler, who preceded him in death December 9, 2014.
Glenn attended Sunbury High School.
He was employed as a machinist and foreman at Wakefield Winding, Germantown, and at Harrington Hoists, Manheim.
Glenn enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Eagles, and working on and restoring bikes, as he was known by many as “Glenn the Bike Man”. He was a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America and enjoyed his 1946 Cadillac, which is still running.
Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, June and Charlie Musselman of Lutz, Florida, and Connie and Howard Slingbaum of Havertown; 5 grandchildren and their spouses, Richard and Jennifer Kreischer, Jamie and Nick Zuzek, Stephanie and Johnny Grubbs, Kyle and Nicole Musselman, and Eric and Katie Schaeffer; and 7 great grandchildren, Natalie, Zachary, Riley, Layla, Stella, C.J., and Brayden; one sister, JoAnn Peterson; and one daughter-in-law, Shirley Kreischer of Gilbertsville
He was preceded in death by one son, Richard Kreischer; five brothers, Arthur, Calvin, Wilson, Emerson, and John Kreischer; and three sisters, Doris Fisher, Verna Carey, and June Kreischer.
A private committal will be in the Hummel's Church Cemetery, Middleburg.
Funeral arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
