Glen Heiss

MIFFLINBURG – Glen Theron Heiss, 89, a lifelong resident of 847 Glover Hill Rd., entered into rest at 4:05 p.m., Monday, May 2, 2016, at Riverwoods, Lewisburg.
He was born February 26, 1927, in Mifflinburg, a son of the late Norman R. and Verna C. (Koch) Heiss.
Glen was a 1945 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.
He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Cowan.
Glen farmed on the Heiss family farm his entire life.
He was a member of the Farm Bureau, Young Farmers, and Buffalo Valley 2-Cylinder Club.
Earlier in life, Glen enjoyed bowling with his brother.
Surviving are nieces and nephews, Scott and Debbie Heiss of Mifflinburg, Max and Phyllis Heiss of Bellefonte, Holly and Tim Snyder of Mifflinburg, and Gregg Heiss of Mifflinburg.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Owen E. Heiss.
Family and friends are welcome from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11, with Rev. John Yost, officiating.
Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery.
