George A. Klingerman, III, 72, of Mifflinburg, formerly of Aldan, Delaware County, entered into rest at 7:34 p.m., Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born August 25, 1950, in Darby, a son of the late George A. Klingerman, II and Jane H. (Kenney) Quirk. On August 23, 1986, he married the former Darlene E. Dischert, who survives.
George was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Clifton Heights.
He was employed in shipping and receiving at Kmart, Fairless Hills, and at Sperry Graphics, Folcroft.
George was a member of the Sharon Hill Fire Department.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and helping others.
Surviving in addition to his wife of nearly 37 years, are two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Trish Klingerman of Collingdale, and Kristofer and Valerie Klingerman of Folcroft; three daughters, Jeannette Klingerman of Collingdale, Lauren Dischert of Glenn Burnie, Maryland, and Mary Klingerman of Mifflinburg; one brother and sister-in-law, Glenn and Dawn Klingerman of Chadds Ford; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Tom Repsher of Fenwick Island, Delaware, and Barbara and Dennis Perkins of Oxford; and nine grandchildren, Tim, Noel, Benjamin, Owen, Charles, Chloe, Robert, Connor, and Sophia.
Family and friends are welcome to a time of visitation from 9:30 to 11 a.m., Saturday, September 9, 2023, at the Advent Lutheran Church, 1601 Green Lane, West Chester, where the memorial service will be conducted at 11, with Pastor Christopher Franz, officiating.
