Gary E. Wirth, 73, of 510 Water St., for the past 50 years, entered into rest at 6:36 a.m., Thursday, May 29, 2014, at his home.
He was born October 29, 1940, in White Springs, a son of the late Herbert L. and Alda (Badger) Wirth. On May 13, 1959, he married the former Barbara Ann Guffey.
Gary attended Mifflinburg High School.
He was owner and operator of Gary E. Wirth Upholstery, New Berlin.
Gary enjoyed fishing in Penns Creek, Susquehanna River, and Atlantic Ocean.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 55 years, are two sons and one daughter-in-law, Wayne Wirth of Montandon, and Rob and Sandy Wirth of Middleburg; four grandchildren and their spouses, Kirk and Crystal Wirth of Pine Grove, Eric and Alicia Wirth of Mifflinburg, Chelsey Wirth of Milton, and Granite Wirth of Milton; four sisters, Kay, June, Lori, and Nancy; and one brother, Gordon.
Funeral services will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.
