Fredia Schnure

Fredia Delcamp Schnure, 97, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 9:18 a.m., Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at Rolling Hills Manor, Millmont.

She was born March 5, 1923, in West Buffalo Township, a daughter of the late Roy O. and Sarah A. (DeLong) Delcamp. In July 1944, she married William Kenneth Schnure, who preceded her in death October 12, 1980.

Fredia was a 1941 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.

She retired in 1988 after 32 years of service from the Mifflinburg Bank & Trust Co.  Earlier in life, she was employed as a bookkeeper and office manager by Sterling Brothers Throwing Mill, Mifflinburg.

Surviving are two brothers and one sister-in-law, Harold Delcamp, and Miles and Martha Delcamp, all of Mifflinburg; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Orvis, Kenneth, and Leon Delcamp; and one sister, Miriam Robenalt.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, March 14, at Hartleton Cemetery, with Pastor Ryan Gephart, officiating.
