Eve Mae Rantz

Eve Mae Rantz, 76, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 2:02 a.m., Monday, September 7, 2026, at Wellspan Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

She was born March 15, 1950, in Lewisburg, a daughter of the late Robert Steven and Gladys M. (Himmelreich) Valentine. On June 8, 1968, she married the love of her life, Robert E. Rantz, who survives.

Eve was a 1968 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.

She was employed as a Pharmacy Technician for many years.

Eve was a member of the Christ’s United Lutheran Church, Millmont.

She cherished her time with her family, shopping at the Community Aid Store, and going for car rides in the West End.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 58 years, are one son, Rian Rantz of Mifflinburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Shelli and Mike Roush of Mifflinburg; one brother, Robert S. Valentine of Harrisburg; 3 grandchildren, Nathan Roush and his wife Miranda, Cameron Roush and his wife Shannon, and Caleigh Eva Mae Rantz; and 2 great grandchildren, Adalyn Roush and Kinsley Roush.

A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Monday, September 14, at the Christ’s United Lutheran Church, 13765 Old Turnpike Rd., Millmont, with Rev. Curt Wingert, officiating.
