Emily Snyder

Emily Mae Snyder, 101, of 2050 Lincoln Chapel Rd., Millmont, since 1946, entered into rest at 12:25 p.m., Monday, September 10, 2018, at Rolling Hills Manor, Millmont.
She was born June 9, 1917, in Milton, a daughter of the late William and Clara (Leeder) Hulsizer.  On May 6, 1934, she married William D. Snyder, who preceded her in death September 21, 1979.
Emily was employed as an aide at the Laurelton State School from 1960 until she retired in 1978.
She was a member of the Lincoln Chapel United Methodist Church, Millmont.
Emily enjoyed gardening, playing Yatzee and Bingo, and visiting with her family.
Surviving are four sons and three daughters-in-law, Dan and Barb Snyder of Hartleton, Robert and Sue Snyder of Virginia, Thomas Snyder of Maryland, and Joseph and Annette Snyder of Millmont; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Lois and Melvin Bickel of Millmont, Mary Ann Hackenberg of Mifflinburg, and Linda and Jim Martin of New Ringold; 19 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, John “Jack” Snyder; one daughter, Betty Stahl; one brother, Robert Hulsizer; one sister, Sara Ann Michaels; and five grandchildren, Charles Stahl, Jr., Melvin Bickel, Jr., Robin Snyder, Timothy Hackenberg, and William Stahl.
Family and friends are welcome from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11, with Pastor Richard DeVett, officiating.
Interment will be in the Lincoln Chapel Cemetery, Millmont.
