Doris Eileen Raymond, 79, of 706 Johnstown Rd., Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 5:15p.m., Saturday, September 9, 2017, at her home.
She was born September 6, 1938, in Mifflinburg, a daughter of the late Blan Cameron and Doris Eda (Bingaman) Badger. On February 14, 1977, in Williamsport, she married David Lee Raymond, who survives.
Doris was employed at the Milton Shoe Factory for 15 years and worked as a private home health personal care attendant in Florida.
She attended many churches during her time in Florida and most recently attended the First Presbyterian Church of Mifflinburg and the New Hope Bible Church, Mifflinburg.
Doris enjoyed to journal, her genealogy, antiquing, interior decorating including free style wall painting and upholstering from which she learned from her father. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and spending time in her Florida home during the winter months.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 40 years, are three daughters and one son-in-law, Elaine D. and her husband Karl Krick, Jr. of Mifflinburg, Sharon M. Smith of Lewisburg, and Brenda L. Knouse of Penns Creek; one step son, David Lee Raymond, Jr. and his wife Melissa of Frederick, MD; one step daughter, Luree R. and her husband Brian Harris of Chesapeake, VA; 13 grandchildren, Amber and her spouse T.J. Grodotzke, Ashley Resides and her spouse Amanda, Stephen Kemble, Bradley Kemble, Matthew Kemble, Maggie Smith, Derek Knouse, Kurtis Knouse, Morgan and her spouse Greg Brannan, Justin Harris and his spouse Breanna, Paige Raymond, Allison Raymond and Taylor Raymond and 8 great grandchildren, Izaak Grodotzke, Sean Grodotzke, Connor Grodotzke, Aidan Knouse, Owen Knouse, Riley Harris and Colbie Harris.
She was preceded in death by one brother, William P. Badger.
A celebration of life service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the Christ Community Church, Glen Iron with Rev. Richard VonNeida, officiating.
A private burial will be in the Long Lane Cemetery, Hartleton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Hospice of Evangelical, 235 Hospital Dr., Lewisburg, PA 17837.
