Donald “Pete” Franklin Grove, 46, of Middleburg, entered into rest at 5:15 a.m., Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Nursing and Rehabilitation at the Mansion, Sunbury.
He was born July 18, 1979, in Lewisburg, a son of the late Donald M. and Ginny R. (Bateman) Grove.
Pete was a 1999 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.
He was employed in management at Wood-Mode, Kreamer, for 26 years, and most recently at Mifflinburg Lumber.
Pete enjoyed fishing, hunting, singing Karaoke, and was a Penn State fan.
Surviving are one son, Tyler Grove of Middleburg; one daughter, Lori Grove of Middleburg; one step-son, Blaise Keister of Middleburg; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Cindy Grove of Millmont, and Timothy and Robin Grove of McClure; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathleen and Terry Smith, Jr. of Millmont, and Tammy and Eugene Leitzel of Richfield; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald M. Grove, Jr., and John Grove.
Pete made his wrongs right and got right with the Lord and that brought his heart joy. He appreciated the visits from Chaplains in recent weeks.
Family and friends are welcome to a celebration of Pete’s life from noon to 3 p.m., Saturday, October 18, at the Hartley Township Recreation Center, 49 Ballpark Rd, Millmont.
