Diane L. May

Diane L. May, 86, formerly of Lewisburg, entered into rest at 2:55 p.m., Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Milton Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born April 19, 1940, in Carbondale, a daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Hopkins) Ketchum. In 1978, she married Vern Leon May, who preceded her in death.

Diane was employed as a nail technician and cosmetic tattoo artist. Earlier in life, she worked in construction and at Yorktowne, Mifflinburg.

She enjoyed traveling to the west coast and spending time with her family.

Surviving are two sons and one daughter-in-law, Jackie and Pricilla Prokarym of Pittston, and Randy Melton and his companion Sandy of Oregon; three daughters and one son-in-law, Mechelle and David Hendricks of Lewisburg, Susan Prokarym of Redding, California, and Jill Parry and her companion Terry of Coudersport; three sisters, Shirley Corrigan of California, Bonnie Harrity of Hanover, and Connie Griffith of Germyn; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and many great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Bob Ketchum; and one sister, Barbara Sirriani.

Following Diane's request, services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
